2017 financial statements: Topdanmark delivers impressive financial statements

Topdanmark generated a profit of just over DKK 1.7 billion in 2017. This was strongly supported by growth in our pension business of approximately 11%. Topdanmark Livsforsikring is now the fourth* largest commercial pension company in terms of sales. This excellent growth means that our total premium income (including health and accident products and investment contracts) now exceeds DKK 10 billion.

“Topdanmark Liv is continuing its impressive growth. I am sure that this is due to our combination of good service and good, stable returns to pension savers,” says Lars Thykier, acting CEO of Topdanmark.

Topdanmark’s focus on customer satisfaction and digital solutions

“We are currently investing in initiatives designed to improve our competitiveness. This applies both to our prices but also to our ability to manage customer enquiries relating to sales, advice and claims quickly and easily. Digitisation has primarily been targeted at existing customers to date, but new measures will also be about getting new customers into the store,” says Lars Thykier.
